Some voters feel there is no good option
Thought from a Donkey:
This election will be truly difficult for me. I am against Muslim incursion, yet for proper immigration. I am against abortion, (*sucks all around, but feel someone should always stand for the baby); yet I am against electing someone you legitimately feel could cause a nuclear crisis. I am for the rights of guns, but feel the average person is too ill-equipped mentally to handle them. I am for government programs, (*HUD, public libraries, etc); but feel too much is being given away to people who do not care about bettering themselves. I am for freedom of religion, but like guns, feel the average person is too ill-equipped to handle it when it comes to including into our government /educational policies.
I could go on, but in short: I am torn because my moral compass is in a 360-degree spin about the two candidates. Yet, my lack of vote could align my support to someone’s stance I don’t agree with.
Why am I writing this?
Just to say, at the end of the day – United States citizens on both sides may feel they have been given a zero option this election. Whatever you choose or not choose, I am electing to not hate you for it. I am electing to not make you feel like Hitler deserving of Hell’s citizenship. I am electing to say, “I love you. I love the United States of America. And one way or the other … you, I, black, white, red, and yellow, woman or man; and the poor, confused, Republican LGBT who can’t stand the sight of guns, (but thinks Idris Elba in Dark Tower with a six-shooter is amazing) yet loves being a closeted meat-eating, agnostic … will get through this!”
P.S. As for the party leaders on both sides of the aisle – may God have mercy on your soul. You have failed the American public in lieu of your greed!
