Community partners get a big thanks from Right Path

The Right Path just wrapped up our 12th summer of safe teen and family events, thanks to our many community partners.

Tuesday nights held a few surprises this year as we moved locations from the Marietta YMCA, Whit’s Frozen Custard, Jeremiah’s Coffee/SWAGG and the Beverly and Belpre City pools in an effort to reach out to our county youth and their families.

Our Friday night Teen and Family Swim nights continue to be a success, thanks to the city of Marietta for their great family night rate, DJ Productions and Mike Bishman, IHeart Radio and WMOA, Wendy’s, WCBH board, and all the families who spend a couple of hours of quality time together playing games, joining in contests and having lots of fun! Our annual end of summer Block Party saw many new families and our 6 feet of foam provided some outstanding pictures for those that visited the photo booth at the end of the night.

This is an effort that requires many organizations, media, communities, city government, and of course families that support our mission statement to promote healthy youth development through both pro-social and community service opportunities for youth.

Special thanks to all of the above and Teresa Bryan and Little Caesar’s; Time Well Wasted Backyard Inflatables; Ron’s Porta-Johns; Mobile Jams, Don, Bob and Crew; David Browne; Justin Moody; Greg Siegfried; Doug Phelps; Laura Bays; Johnny Wharff; Caleb Darling; Memorial Health Systems; United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley, Andrea Shirey and her staff; Washington County United Way, Mary Ann and Shauna; Kona Ice; TRP; Claire Heiby of the Marietta Times; Doug Terrell; Sheriff Larry Mincks and everyone who helped make Summer of 2016 our most memorable!

We are looking forward to year 13!
