It pulls on my heart to see and hear people being deceived about scripture in our public gatherings, movies and public media. Just as Adam and Eve were deceived by the devil using partial truths, mankind is still being deceived by using partial Bible verses and made up doctrine. The words of Jesus and the apostles, written for us in the Bible, should be our only guide to salvation from eternal punishment in Hell.

Belief in Jesus Christ; John 14:6, I am the way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Confess His name; Romans 10:9, If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Confess your sin; 1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Repent your sins; Luke 13:2-3, And Jesus answered … Do you suppose that these were worse sinners than all others, because they suffered such things? I tell you, no; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.

Be baptized; Acts 2:38, Peter replied, Repent and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19, Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Mark 16:16, Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

John 14:15, If you love me you will obey what I command.

Keep your faith; James 2:26, As the body without the Spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

Do not fall from grace; Hebrews 6:4-6, It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

The Bible cannot be pieced out to mean what you want it to, but must be taken as a whole, in context, and rightly divided (studied) to understand God’s meaning and instruction to us.

If you believe Genesis Chapter 1, you should have no trouble with the rest of the Bible.

I urge you to not be deceived with half-truths.
