Thanks to those who helped bring the flowers
Now that July is upon us and summer is officially here, we wanted to shout from the mountaintops our immense gratitude for our Save Our Flowers campaign donors.
Because of you, Marietta, and the support of many, over 300 beautiful purple petunia flower baskets are hanging throughout downtown Marietta and Harmar Village.
Every year, Marietta Main Street fundraises over $12,000 to fund downtown beautification. From flags to flowers to clean sweeps and more, our downtown beautification program requires a lot of heavy lifting from volunteers, donors, and our downtown business community. In 2016, Marietta Main Street invested $92k in direct support and volunteerism into downtown beautification, and we look to continue growing our impact with each year!
Please, share in gratitude with us as we uplift each donor to our Save Our Flowers Campaign. Each and every dollar donated continues to make a significant impact, and we are oh so grateful. We had a goal of raising $4k and we successfully raised $4,350.
All funds raised from our Save Our Flowers Campaign go directly to supporting watering and maintenance from May to September, a task that takes at least 20 hours a week, each and every day.
THANK YOU TO OUR GENEROUS DONORS:
