I am writing to express my support for Matthew Livengood, candidate for Washington County Auditor. Having hired Matthew as my Chief Deputy Auditor over 5 years ago and working with him since, I can attest that he is by far the best prepared candidate to serve as the next Washington County Auditor.

Matthew Livengood is qualified by his experience and knowledge of the personnel, their duties and the operations of the office. Along with charge of daily front office processes, Matthew has also been tasked with oversight of the computer assisted mass appraisal system, the technical backbone upon which the roughly 62,000 real property parcels in Washington County are valued for taxation purposes.

As I prepare to leave the office that it has been my pleasure and honor to serve for the past 16 years, I have confidence that Matthew Livengood has the real experience necessary to serve as the next Washington County Auditor.
