Thanks for support of Community Food Pantry

The Outreach Board, on behalf of the Marietta Community Food Pantry, would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to The Marietta Times and WMOA for their support of the “Send Help” program this past holiday season. Both media outlets made it possible for the Marietta Community Food Pantry to serve our fellow citizens who continue to suffer from food insecurities. Mother Teresa once said, “If you can’t feed a hundred people, feed just one.” In partnering with us, your participation enabled us to feed 1,258 people during the holiday season.

The Marietta Community Food Pantry (MCFP) serves all of Washington County, Monday through Thursday. As mentioned in the Jan. 3, 2018 Marietta Times article, donations are always welcome as much work remains to be done to keep our food pantries stocked throughout the year. Thank you for your generous contribution in helping make the “Send Help” program a successful one.
