Grateful for the work of volunteer firefighters

I want to thank the members of the Reno Fire Department and other first responders for their quick action on July 11, to the fire in my storage building that was struck by lightning. Their quick response may have prevented a fire to my house. Also, a special thanks to my wonderful neighbors for alerting the fire department and also contacting me, for I was out of town at the time, and assuring me that the fire was contained to the building only. Thanks to my daughter and granddaughter for being there and answering questions on my behalf for the responders. Don’t ever take your local fire department for granted… they are priceless.

Again, Reno Fire Department, thank you so much.
