Celebration of those in recovery was a success

On Saturday Sept. 21 The Washington County Behavioral Health Board and The Right Path for Washington County hosted our second annual Recovery Day, celebrating the journey of those in recovery.

It was a beautiful day on the lawn of the Armory with several community partners on hand to offer resources, education and fellowship. Special thanks to CEO Cheri Walters, OACHBA, speaking on behalf of Behavioral Health Boards around State of Ohio and all the great things happening in the field of Mental Health and Addiction, giving hope to families.

Thanks to the city of Marietta and Tanner Huffman and crew; IHeart Media and WMOA Radio; MC Mark Doebrich and Third Street Music; live music from Drew Williams and the Journey Band, Levi Westfall and Justin Arthur; our speakers Tim Craft and others; food vendors Little Caesars Pizza and Teresa Bryan for her donation and support; Rockabilly hotdogs, Busy Bee Restaurant for pulled pork donation and the Town House and Nathan Matheny for last minute warm-ups; Alyssa Patterson and House of Hope for face painting; Haas Septic; Griffin and Joel; all our agencies; inflatables and all those working behind the scenes to help make our event a huge success.

Thank you for coming out and helping us celebrate. See you next September.
