Noland has the experience needed to be city’s mayor
I support Harley Noland for mayor of Marietta because I feel he cares about all its people. I attended several of his neighborhood informational get-togethers and learned a lot about what people’s concerns are and appreciate how Harley answered their questions.
Harley is a native of Marietta. He graduated from Marietta High School and has a degree in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. He was Councilman at Large for eight years and has the experience to provide the leadership we need now. As chair of the Lands, Parks and Building committee he has worked to update, renovate, and preserve Marietta’s assets. As a member of the Planning Committee he has experience in working with others to plan for the future of Marietta.
A successful businessman in downtown Marietta, Harley owned and ran the popular Levee House Restaurant for many years and is now retired, but continues as owner and tour guide to Marietta’s much-loved Trolley Tours.
I have confidence in him. He will be a full-time mayor who will listen to the concerns of the citizens of Marietta and has the practical experience to bring plans to completion. I hope you will vote for Harley Noland for Mayor.
