Real open-mindedness

I doubt that many people have heard of Cassie Jaye and the unique position she found herself in that is so indicative of the world we live in today. Cassie Jaye is a feminist film maker. She was the darling of the left and received many accolades for her documentaries involving the feminist movement. She embarked on another film with the intent of exposing misogyny in the men’s rights movement.

As she started filming, however, she discovered her premise was wrong. She learned, firsthand, that men are often treated unfairly by the courts; their voices go unheard, their pleas go unanswered. Being a decent human being, Cassie went ahead and made the film anyway, exposing the injustice. I would encourage you all to seek out the documentary, The Red Pill, and watch it for yourself (4 out of 5 stars). You should allow for 1 hour and 57 minutes for this documentary.

Instead of embracing the above revelation, her leftist peers ridiculed and ostracized her for simply reporting the truth. Cassie Jayne became a pariah to the feminist movement which she had so passionately defended and felt empowered by. It is a sad state of affairs when disagreement during the free exchange of ideas becomes a club used to beat others into submission. That is not what Republican values are about. That is why I will cast my vote for Republicans that are for real inclusion and open-mindedness.

In his July 3, 2020, address at Mount Rushmore, President Donald Trump warned about the Cancel Culture “… driving people from their jobs, shaming dissenters, and demanding total submission from anyone who disagrees. This is the very definition of totalitarianism, and it is completely alien to our culture and our values, and it has absolutely no place in the United States of America
