Whith all the air traffic there a pilot could just hang his head out the window look to see if it is clear and yell ready for take off. It would be good enough for me. But not if it was Dallas or a big airport like that.

@ irisheyes We need a divided government so that both sides have to work together to get things done. The founding Father tried to make the system so hard that only bills that were truly needed would become laws.

Obama to the rescue!! Please, o great one, show us the "hope and change" you so greatly told us about so we would vote for you. Oh, I almost forgot, you are a member of the club known as one of "them". After your infection by your local "party boss", life has never been the same.

Lets wait to hear from the people who wanted to save Big Bird. Do you want Big Bird and long lines at Airport Security? Which one can you do without?

Republican refusal to cooperate with the administration, do away with the cuts, maintain things as they are! Obama and the democrats have this country on the right path. In 23 mo. The democrats will assume control of the house, senate, and the presidency, good things, lay ahead!

Apparently the current administration is colluding with union officials on these cuts. It's almost like they intend to make this as painful as possible for the American taxpayer. Gotta make them pay... that should teach them to fork over their hard-earned money in increasing amounts to feed the leviathan they have created & refuse to constrain.

FAA has a budget of $73.2 Billion. The sequester will cut ~$600 million from LaHoods budget. Before they close airports and slow down security, the FAA should review their $2.7 billion in non-personnel costs, include in the current budget, such as $500 million for consultants, and $200 million for supplies and travel. This is just typical poor management that you find all over Gov’t.
