Belpre High School morning drop off and dismissal

Students may arrive at Belpre High School at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast.

Classes begin at 7:50 a.m.

Student driver dismissal - 2:46 p.m.

Parent pick up dismissal - 2:54 p.m.

Belpre Elementary morning drop off and dismissal

Belpre Elementary School arrival times will be 7:40-8:15. If you are dropping your student off in the morning, you may use the drive closest to the school when there are no buses present. If there are buses present, please use the secondary drive with the crosswalk. Please do not park in either location. If you need to park and enter the building, please pull to a designated parking spot.

Dismissal will use the same options (carpool, side door, bus). Carpool dismissal will be from 2:45-3 Side door dismissal will be at 2:45. Buses will dismiss after 2:55. If you arrive at the building after 2:55, you are to use the additional lane or pull through and park in a designated parking spot. This is to allow for the buses to come through and pick up their students.

Call the school in August with any questions.

Calamity day procedures

The One Call Now System will be utilized to inform parents of school closures/delays. WTAP TV, their website and local radio stations will report school closure/delay information as well. Review the options and explanations listed below. For questions or concerns: 423-9511.

Two-hour delay: All students including JVS.

Code A information

Two-hour delay Code A: Buses will run on a two-hour delay and will follow the changes indicated below - JVS and Alt. schools will operate on two-hour delay.

Bus 14 Mike Werry: Students that live on Briggs Hill, Congress Road and Calder Ridge will be picked up at location of choice - Lawnsdale, 6:45-7:00; Arrow Trailer Sales, 7:15-7:30.

Bus 4 Mary Jo Perdue: Students that live on Way Road will be picked up at Pleasant View United Methodist Church, 6:12-6:55. Students that live on Dugan Ridge will be picked up at intersection of Mill Branch and Dugan Ridge, 7:00-7:10.

Afternoon drop off will be at same location.

Buses

(A practice bus run is scheduled for Aug. 21. All buses will run their morning routes).

All times are approximate and will be adjusted accordingly after school starts. Instruct children to arrive at the bus stops early until actual times can be determined. Transportation changes

If you rode Bus 26, the eagle bus, last year your new driver will now be April Miley. Miley will also be picking up the kids on Bean Ridge, as you will no longer be riding Bus 6.

If you rode Bus 10, the frog bus, last year your new driver will now be Ed Jones.

Students who rode Bus 8 last year will now be riding Bus 24, the butterfly bus, driven by Leo Michel.

Students who rode Bus 16 last year, will still be driven by Kevin Mallett, however your bus will now be number 15, the snake bus.

Students who rode Bus 24 last year, Mel Bates' bus your new bus number will be Bus 2, the mouse bus, still driven by Bates, also Bates will once again be picking up the kids on the Mount Ephraim Pike.

Students who rode Bus 15 last year, Danny Hickman's bus your new bus number will be Bus 9, the pig bus, still driven by Hickman.

Linda Reeves will now be driving Bus 25, the duck bus.

Duane Hill will now be driving Bus 27, the rabbit bus.

Also, as the beginning of the school year nears, be looking for a call from your driver with an estimated time for your pickup and evening dropoff.
