The Marietta Small Business Development Center and Marietta SCORE will offer a free a three-hour workshop at Washington State Community College on Oct. 25. The program will focus on internet tools that can help small businesses grow. Topics will include getting stated on the web, using analytics to know your customers, easy ways to promote your website, how to build an online following, and engaging the public with social networks. The workshop will begin at 9 a.m. at Washington State's Center for Business and Technology. A continental breakfast will be included from 8:30 to 9 a.m. The presenter will be Art Smith, online director for the Marietta Times and Parkersburg News and Sentinel.
