Gregory A. Leasure, 27, of 5380 State Route 260, New Matamoras, reported Thursday that when he awoke that morning he noticed a total of five bullet holes in the passenger side window, bed and door of his Ford pickup truck.
A deputy requested a warrant Thursday for Alice J. Keeler, address unknown, for criminal trespassing. Despite being ordered on numerous previous occasions to not enter the property at 101 Evans St., New Matamoras, Keeler recently attempted to enter her former apartment and damaged the current tenant's flowers. Keeler has also entered the apartment complex's office on multiple occasions and ignored requests to leave.
Donald E. Rhyne, 70, of P.O. Box 127, Waverly, W.Va., was arrested Friday for assault. At Emeritus Assisted Living that morning, Rhyne shoved an 80-year-old resident in the back. The victim, who recently had open heart surgery, fell forward in her wheelchair and struck her oxygen tank with her chest. Multiple witnesses observed the assault, and concurred that it appeared that Rhyne intended to harm the victim.

Scott A. Johnson, 38, of 708 Virginia St., Marietta, was arrested Thursday for a felony charge of complicity in breaking and entering and misdemeanor charges for violating the terms of his probation, breach of recognizance and obstructing official business.
Ian S. Patterson, 20, of 104 Riley Drive Apt. 1, Marietta, was arrested Thursday for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor.
Mondell L. Williams, 33, of 974 Pierce Ave., Columbus, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Williams was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution and processed into the Washington County Jail Friday.
Cody L. Ladeaux, 18, of 1230 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta, was arrested Friday for possession of drugs, a misdemeanors.
Randall S. Congo, 52, of 30905 Stiversville Road, Portland, was arrested Friday for a felony charge of breach of recognizance and a misdemeanor charge of violating the terms of his probation.
