Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

almost smells of scam...."which were all in remarkable condition"

if valid, then good for the family. those that have a Ty Cobb card would most likely not be too happy about the discovery. it is certain to devalue...at least in the short term an otherwise "rare and original" card.

BeRight

Seven rare Ty Cobb baseball cards have been found in a bag of trash. The Cobb cards, which were all in remarkable condition, were found last month in an empty house in unidentified town in a southern state of the U.S. As reported by the Washington Post, the cards were found by the original owners’ great-grandchildren. The family does not wish to be named.

The Ty Cobb cards were found mixed in with postcards and family artifacts, and although none of the family are great baseball fans, they had heard of the name “Ty Cobb,” and so thought the cards might be worth something. It turns out the cards were printed between 1909 and 1911, and are worth an estimated $1 million

Sounds like a story from Strange Inheritance.

here's another one...

CONCRETE, Wash. — A 43-year-old man has died after authorities say he accidentally shot himself in the face while taking selfies.

The Skagit Valley Herald reports the man and his girlfriend were photographing themselves with the weapon on Sunday at a residence when he shot himself.

Skagit County Sheriff's Office Patrol Chief Chad Clark says the woman reported that she and the man had taken photos with the gun several times that day and that the man had loaded and unloaded bullets multiple times.

Clark says a bullet apparently remained in the gun the final time he fired.

The death is being investigated as accidental. The man's name has not been released.

That all makes sense except the part about starting a fire on a airborne plane.

absolem

NCN...if that is true...then he failed...miserably.

Posted 115 days ago.

NasCarNut

He stood in the hallway of the plane for several minutes before he returned to the bathroom with a fire extinguisher to "take care" of the other flaming towels. He pretended that he discovered a fire and told the other flight attendants about it.

guess he wanted to be a hero...

OWO...our forefathers most likely never envsioned much of the technology and advanced tools that we have developed over time. however, i don't think it is prudent to limit the focus of the intent of the amendment and its original intent to the tool. the tool is merely a "tool" in which to address the proven over time way of dealing with humans and the corruption by oppressive people and governments. since we admittedly supply foreign citizens with military weapons...would you frown on other nations that would supply possible furture revolutionists?
