Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

ASK you are correct, Congress has a low approval rating but lets look at the election just two years ago. THE PEOPLE put that in Republican hands, WHY, because they loved the platform, NO they DID NOT LIKE THE WAY the country was heading. SO with that in mind, We are divided and in a very bad way. The DEMS have don't nothing to compromise why would they expect the house to do so.

BobBarker, those classic vettes were pretty scarce when i was a teen.the hot cars that were within most everyone's reach were the chevelle's and the camaro's. most of them that i remember were either 327's or 396's. unfortunately at the time all i could afford was the 1968 chevelle with the weak 307 and two-speed powerglide.... but i was thankful to have just about anything!

BobBarker...i will admit that as much as i like the thump of the old small and big block motors, i would have to choose the newer design motors if given the choice. naturally if you trick out the older motors they will provide more than decent performance...but i'll take new.

BobBarker, good choice!!!! i think that the fastback stingrays are some of the most beautiful of the corvette. as a kid, they reminded me so much of the jaguar xke coupes. although the jag's had a longer hood. still i think you will agree that they are very similar

thegreek, it's fine...we can be belittled and called names but it does not detract from the obvious that the left suffers from their own attempts at granduer only to fall flat. it is also very entertaining to watch them scratch their heads and try to figure out why their schemes do not pan out. the topper is the tail between the legs backtracking, the claiming that others are at fault and that the demonized are expected to bail their arses out. it is also fine that they have demonstrated in the past that they are not above doing the cut-n-run when they are not happy, but it is unacceptable to mount an opposition to distasteful legislation. remember only "they" are the party of tolerance and inclusiveness...that is as long as you agree with them. so grab the popcorn and wait for the rebuttals and name-calling. they might be creative and use some new names for a change.8-)

I am sure that ONEILL will be on here shortly hammering us about this with all of his typical liberal blabber calling us names and attacking us personally especially if we have a valid point. The asknot will also trample the h e ll out of us saying he is neutral and just wants to "discuss" it intelligently . And then Bob WOOF WOOF Barker will come out with something really bitey that makes no sense but is a reflection of Melissa Harris-Perry's attitude. But I don't remember Bob sobbing !!

Hear hear. Aye aye. Yes yes. Well said. Bravo. I agree 100 percent. Pretty ONE SIDED to call R's obstructionists when the D's are doing exactly what you said Tiredofit !!!

I resent the obstructing charge. Why is it that the HOUSE is viewed as obstructionist yet the Senate and President are not? I know the bomb tossers have said they MAJORITY voted in Obama and therefore his agenda is what WE want. However they forget that WE put the HOUSE in the hands of his opponents after two years of total control. Harry Reid had refused to take up many bills from the house where the MAJORITY had spoken yet he is not obstructing the will of the PEOPLE>??? I realize a lot of this is rhetorical as its just a talking point the left is using on the House Republicans but I just want to point out the hypocrisy of the thing.

Maybe now the D's will do some negotiating in return as compared to lining up all their ducks and making backdoor deals so they can ram bills thru to "see whats in them". Embracing the "suck" as Pelosi said.

And since Boehner and the R's approved the debt ceiling we can dispense with the Obstructionism label now eh??

asknot..the new vette is sharp. i resisted but i do like the new corvette body style. if you have noticed old seems to be new again, not only with chevrolet but also with ford and chrysler. smart move by all of them.

asknot...forunately i am a one-size fits all in relation to a corvette. my favorite design inside and out is the 1963 split-window corvette. although i will concede that the large stearing wheel can be a knee-knocker. who cares though it is a vette!

BobBarker...what is your favorite year for the corvette body design?

now for something to really cry about: "BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Eight Corvettes fell into a sinkhole that opened up beneath a section of the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky on Wednesday.Of the eight cars that fell, six were donated to the museum by Corvette enthusiasts, and two are owned by the car’s maker General Motors. Among them were a 1962 Black Corvette, a 1984 PPG Pace Car, and a 1993 ZR-1 Spyder."

I figured ole Ted would get you riled up. Did you watch the video? I was comparing prejudice against minorities to the prejudice against republicans from liberals.
