Daily breaking news and news the liberal media doesn't want you to know, won't report, or just daily news issues.

Americans for many years have had to rely on left leaning biased news reporting from liberal media such as NBC, ABC, and CBS and the New York Times. As most of these outlets struggle to remain on the air and in print, the new media is flourishing and people are hearing both sides of the issues. This forum will provide people with a place to discuss daily news issues of any kind or discuss articles not printed or aired by the liberal news outlets.

Did anyone notice the recent naming of Max Baucus (D- Montana) to the post of US Ambassador to China?

I guess there are benefits for calling the signature piece of legislation of the leader of your party "a train wreck".

Looks as if Phil Robertson is gonna educate A and E and GLAAD after he was suspended from the show for sharing his beliefs about Christianity and Homosexuals. The backlash has begun !!

asknot - Could you pass along that particular notification from Fox News, using exact quotations, and tell us where we can check the veracity of your quotes?

2014 is going to be interesting. Look for the media to ratchet up the rhetoric about the supposed divisions in the republican party. All non socialists had better rally.

Yeah. They may as well embrace it. We have had to for years now.

good morning thegreek, with this administration you don't get in trouble. you get transferred to another position with often times a raise and a hardy "thanks for taking one for the team" slap on the back. concerning Obama i think pelosi had it right when she said: "Embrace the S U C K". she is such a lady and has a way with words like nobody else.

That is SO right LTS. Makes a person wonder what it takes for a progressive liberal to get in trouble. Other than saying someone should deficate and urinate in their mouths.

Tiredofit, Obama is getting close to stripping Satan of the title of "Father of all Lies". although i do believe Jay Carney is running a close second.

good morning moderation, very few folks at any level of income have full medical security. most everyone must pay premiums, deductables, co-pays and for any elective procedures. before healthcare became a "right", which essentially means paid for by others through legislative strong-arming, responsible and able-bodied folks aquired their form of security by working, buying their own, living healthy, budgeting, and basically looking after their own needs as best they could. the poor before obamacare, had medical care but not always medical insurance. since medical security is not provided by obamacare, what will the rest of us do for medical security?

PolitiFact has chosen the most significant falsehood of the year: President Barack Obama's repeated statement, "If you like your health care plan, you can keep it."

also insuring any financial shortfalls within the law. you don't have to wait for the bailout with the ACA...because it is already built into the law. there is no disputing that fact.

good afternoon moderation, i agree fully. if you recall i was against the bank bailouts. in my opinion the investors as well as those that were criminally responsible should have been the losers. the problem with the genuine mistakes is that they were not criminal at the time. they were simply bad bets (investments) if you will. the relationships and guarantees between the federal reserve(to include financial institutions) and our government create a foreseeable money pit ripe for crisis. the gm auto bailout was unique in that we had tangible assets backing the loan(financing) for general motors. although the stocks could have been volatile worthless, on face value they ended up returning 80% of the loan value. if i am not mistaken, the bank bailout netted a better return for the governments investment. now we move on to this ponzi scheme called obamacare(the president is said to be embracing the name now...go figure). the government is not only financing the payments but they are als

good afternoon lts- I have always thought that those responsible for the deceit that crippled our economy should be separated from whatever wealth they accumulated as a result of such, and bunked up with 'bubba' for some remedial Ed. just saying....

from CNN Wire: The sign language interpreter widely ridiculed for his performance at the Nelson Mandela memorial stands by his work. Jantjiesi also reluctantly admitted in the interview that he suffers from schizophrenia and is receiving treatment.....in other news: LTS, LLC. reports...questions arise in his potential involvement in the failed obamacare website roll-out, incompetence or schizophrenia???.......we report...you verify.

that seems to a problem that permeates through our government....10 billion here and 10 billion there. no problem...we can tax, borrow and print more....the staples "easy button" at work.

asknot, the only rub with your argument is the assumption that gm would no longer exist. your and other estimators do not even consider the fact that the profitable assets would be bought and possibly continued in a more stream-lined and efficient fashion. if gm were to actually respond similiarly as if they were aquired by a profit and change driven entity then we would see very much the same in job loss, tax revenue loss and restructuring of virtually every aspect of their operations. i am pleased that they are sitting on $26.8 billion in cash and seem to be doing better although some have questioned why gm was allowed to walk away without paying more back to the american people...or our creditors. however, i will say that based on a complete closure, the investment in the short-term has proven to be beneficial for those in government that spend the money that they collect and borrow. do you desire that our government act as investors to use our money to protect their own return?

good morning moderation. i would have to agree with you in your assessment. investment in business entities opens up many avenues in which to control policies and influence decisions made within the various levels of our government. unlike many other nationalities that invest in ventures here, mostly remain private. it could be said that any investment here by chinese coporations or private investors can at any time become government-owned entities. this is a light example of why i was so against our governments involvement with general motors. which by the way ended up buying back its outstanding stock at a total $10 billion loss of investment for the american people. this amount represented a 20% loss of investment.

I'm not trying to look a gift horse in the mouth but the potential building of a natural gas cracker plant (on the present SABIC property, Washington, WV) calls something into question.

The owner/operator of said plant will be the Brazilian corporation, Odebrecht.

There's NO American corporation that could have developed a plant to profit from the output of the Marcellous shale natural gas deposits? We lose a Saudi Arabian company and replace it with a Brazilian operated one.

I sense, from a manufacturing perspective, America is becoming, ever more, just a spectator. Even on it's own soil.
