Shop.....outside of his early westerns, i would agree. Outlaw Josie Wales is wonderfully done. the only thing that kind of bothered me was the inclusion of his love interest at the time. that was kind of cheesy as i did not think she did that great of a job acting. Outlaw kind of reminds me of Robert Redford in Jeremiah Johnson...another great movie.
OWO...tahnks for bringing up Mel Brooks...very talented man. the studios cater to everyone to make money....silly goose.
Yeah Eastwood is great, outlaw jose wales is his best i think
Its what you republinut minions luv , they are just catering to them to make money !
I love Clint Eastwood movies too. American Hero, Trouble With The Curve, Gran Torino, Unforgiven oh yeah. His son is a heckuva actor too. I was gonna take mrs to see Hateful 8 but couldn't do it either like you guys said. We saw Daddys Home with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg instead. Hilarious all the way. I am also definitely done with Liam Neeson. I refused Taken 3 because of his Americans obsessed with guns comment especially after every dang movie he is in he is shooting someone. What the heck is wrong with idiots that MAKE A CARREER out of using guns in violent movies IN EXCESS and then slam people for being obsessed???? It makes me mad because they are unrealistic... Hail of bullets and no one gets hurt... Jump off buildings not even a sprained ankle...ala the A Team. Hiding in a 55 gallon drum, the baddies pull up and shoot the drum a hundred times and doesn't hurt anyone... STUPID....
The police squad movies put out by the Zucker brothers and of course most anything by Mel Brooks .
I am a fan of the Coen bros as well
we all have our little quirks. i've got a few to spare...depending on whom you ask. Francis Ford Coppola is my second choice in that in my opinion he created the greatest movie in modern times and that movie is "The Godfather". a very powerful film from a very brilliant director.
Clints alright except for the idiotic conversation with a chair . Maybe his alzheimers was showing .
Big fan of Eastwood too, a rare Conservative in Hollywood
good morning! speaking of actor and director...Clint Eastwood is at the top of my list. his body of work is outstanding with the exception of his "which way is loose" films.
Yea me too, i want to the Hateful Eight but cannot bring myself to give him money ;)
You mean like your "reality " where everything is socialism and the sky continuosly falls ? pffft
he is a brilliant directer....awkward actor and lives in his own mind. but darn it...i am a fan of his work.
I just ignore it mostly, Quienten Terrintino (sp) is a great director but a total tool
Shop...i do wish that politics would not have invaded the entertainment area involving advocacy. but the free speech thing rears its ugly head from time to time all across the spectrum of views.
Being a liberal hack seems to play well with those that promote, ask uncle ted
I think u are on to something. Those we see and hear are not the best actors or musicians necessarily, they are the ones someone is promoting.
Shop...talent is not and should not be political. appreciation of the talent is a wonderful thing. i am fascinated by the amazing abilities exhibited by so many people. youtube is full of talented unknowns that otherwise would shine without being seen.
