Assad is responsible for all ordnance.
Syrian government forces may have carried out a chemical weapons attack close to Damascus without the personal permission of President Bashar al-Assad, Germany's Bild am Sonntag paper reported on Sunday, citing German intelligence. Syrian brigade and division commanders had been asking the Presidential Palace to allow them to use chemical weapons for the last four-and-a-half months, according to radio messages intercepted by German spies, but permission had always been denied, the paper said. This could mean Assad may not have personally approved the attack close to Damascus on August 21 in which more than 1,400 are estimated to have been killed, intelligence officers suggested.
Everyday Putin gets up and pinches himself because he can’t believe that while he does nothing, Obama’s legacy keeps going up in smoke. He also cannot believe the Obama the amateur actually thought that Russian President Dmitry Medvedev was in charge of Russia. LOL Now we have USA and Russian war ships staged by Syria. The USA ships are there to attack Syria. Who are the Russian’s there to attack……………………………………………………………………………………..?

lts said"he realized that two of his useful stooges were busy, namely hillary and susan, so he decided this one was gonna be all his! wait, i did neglect to mention ol' stiffy....no not that one, i am talking about the purple-hearted, shot in the arse, married my fortune john kerry. i did know know if anyone noticed his mama-warbucks sitting stage-left behind him doing her best "dog-in-the-window" bobbleheading in agreement with him as if she could lend any credibility to the manure he was spreading. simply incredible. after benghazi, only the delusional or insane would believe this group of hacks." Sure, valueguy, go ahead and bring in bill and monica.
Well, good morning valueguy. There have been clear references to proxy influences throughout this forum. Simply scroll back and refresh or enlighten your memory. My point is, to you, is that the churches position on the Syrian issue is contradicted by its' history of extensive criminal permissiveness within the priesthood. Now,again, review the previous posts,vg.You will find the pope/church referenced as a credible authority of opinion on the Syrian issue, with respect to this forum.
I fail to see your connection between Barack's legacy on Syria and sex offenders in the Catholic Church. Should we Bring in Bill and Monica also?
After the Syria vigil, the pope should now hold a vigil to show concern for the hundreds of lives damaged by sex offending priests who hid within and was supported by the church for centuries.

lts- I did not say that Barry wasn't responsible for his situation. And,I will say that I was 200pct. against the 'reasons' to go to war in Iraq, but a much smaller # on this issue.
moderation, so it is everyone elses fault that Obama finds himself in the position he is in? i think he should have been called on it. it will be interesting to see whether he: 1) says i effed up, 2) puts our military in harms way, or 3) kills innocent syrians and empower those factions that would do the same to us as they have to Assad if given the chance. to Monte Hall, i'll take door #1 please. i appreciate your take on the matter but you did not say whether you actually supported his decisions past and future regarding this "man-made" disaster.
BobDahler, thanks for your post. this whole event with the presidents reaction is a "head-scratchin" moment. just like benghazi, something just doesn't add up. it should bother most when the international community, namely our staunchest allies, leave the president dangling like a booger at the end of stretched snot. how does the saying go??? oh yes..the chesse stands alone and it stinks.
R1KRA8, thanks for notification of the fred sighting! i suppose there is still worth in having the printed page.
BTW: luvthesouth, the answer to your question "When are you going to weigh in on this Syria mess we seemingly are about to get into?" can be found in the Times print edition on page A5 in a Viewpoint article titled "Another mess in the Middle East." Hopefully, it will be posted sometime later in the Times online edition.
