Obamacare is not "FREE" health care

People have finally realized that the word “free” is nowhere to be found in Obamacare’s “ Affordable Health Care Act”. Coverage under President Barack Obama's health care law won't be cheap. A study released Thursday by the nonprofit Kaiser Family Foundation found that government tax credits would lower the sticker price on a benchmark "silver" policy to a little over $190 a month for single people making about $29,000, regardless of their age. For uninsured people who are paying nothing today, this is still a big cost that they're expected to fit into their budgets.

Wanting a waiver from Obamacare for thier members only seems a little greedy and self serving, no? Threatening to support repeal on the masses if they dont get a special deal seems a little self serving as well, Tell us Fluffy do you ever actually think before you post?

The dispute over the impact of the 2010 health care reform law on some union health plans has caused a rift between the AFL-CIO and the White House. The labor union approved a resolution at its national meeting Wednesday calling for significant changes to the law -- and threatening to support its repeal if their terms weren't met.

What happened to "fairness". I guess some are more equal than others ala Animal Farm

it appears as if m e t h users are the only one's known as "tweakers" in this country. the Pig has definately got out of the poke and they are trying to fix it in hush-hush mode as quickly as they can. the pass it before you know it "Nobel Peace Price" Worthy piece of _____ (lagislation) is unravelling like a cheap knitted sweater. another of it's main money generators is getting ready to fall by the wayside leaving the monster costs on those that can least afford it. beware of the Greek public to private ratioed economic model.

From the THE HILL dated 11/6/15:

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) are working behind the scenes to repeal one of the most controversial taxes in ObamaCare, multiple sources tell The Hill.

Reid and Pelosi have been talking since the spring with President Obama about repealing the “Cadillac tax” on employer healthcare benefits, a senior Democratic aide confirmed on Friday.

“Point is, they both want to get this done,” the Democratic aide said.

Opponents of the 40 percent excise tax on high-cost health plans believe 2015 is their last, best chance to get the provision repealed before presidential politics grind the legislative process to a halt. With just two months left in the year, sources say the most ideal option for Democrats is attaching repeal to the package known as tax extenders. The cost of the extenders bill is typically not offset, making it an attractive vehicle for ending one of ObamaCare’s biggest reven

OWO...allowing insurance companies to sell across state lines as well as the compromise between state insurance regulators and the risk/reward ratio for the insurance companies to be financially stable over the long run barring malfeasance on the part of either party involved. the whole idea of insurance is for the insurer to be fully vested in it's obligation and not require federal or state funds. the intent of the ACA is honorable but it's conception, writing and implmentation is sorely lacking.
