Obamacare is not "FREE" health care

People have finally realized that the word “free” is nowhere to be found in Obamacare’s “ Affordable Health Care Act”. Coverage under President Barack Obama's health care law won't be cheap. A study released Thursday by the nonprofit Kaiser Family Foundation found that government tax credits would lower the sticker price on a benchmark "silver" policy to a little over $190 a month for single people making about $29,000, regardless of their age. For uninsured people who are paying nothing today, this is still a big cost that they're expected to fit into their budgets.

"You have'nt the foggiest idea of what my finances are !"

REALLY! OK! You're an eccentric millionaire that has NOTHING ELSE to do but be bellicose on these forums day-after-day. I can see that! LOL

It seems I remember one of your former fellows on here. going by the name LilyOvalley and a half dozen other pseudonyms, constantly assessing what my financial status was. I'd say he/she was the farthest thing in the world from being "just like a republidud , speculation, speculation, speculation !"

Is this where you're going to start singing John Lennon's song "Imagine"?

I imagine we will have a society like that only AFTER the Second Coming of Christ.

I don't care what you think Romney "sounds" like. I'm far from rich (as are you also). Have you ever considered what would become of you if the wealthy in this country decided to tell you to blow it out your ***, traded in their dollars for another form of exchange and moved away. If that happens, I'd be thinking about becoming a Cannibal and the first meat I'd consider would be that from "public servants". It's hardly EVER worn out or tough.

Jonathan Gruber, then, goes which way the money blows.

I don't think that necessarily represents a path one follows for the common good of the people.

"And NO he did not call me stupid ! I voted correctly !" LOL

I wish Joseph Stalin was still arrive so he could join in about the ultimate disposition of those that profess ultimate 'reward' for having supported the causes they believed in. LOL (again)

That is a reference to calling you stupid.

Since you are unsure who Gruber is, I did a search for you: Jonathan Holmes Gruber is an American professor of economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he has taught since 1992. He is also the director of the Health Care Program at the National Bureau of Economic Research, where he is a research associate. An associate editor of both the Journal of Public Economics and the Journal of Health Economics, Gruber has been heavily involved in crafting public health policy.

He was a key architect of both the 2006 Massachusetts health care reform, sometimes referred to as "Romneycare", and the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, sometimes referred to as the "ACA" and "Obamacare".[1] He became the focus of a media and political firestorm in late 2014 when videos surfaced in which he made controversial statements about the legislative process, marketing strategies and public perception surrounding the passage of the ACA. That is

"screwed the pooch"? That's an old Fred Oneill phrase! Can we get a "jumped the shark" out of you for old time's sake?

With Obama remaining as the most powerful man on Earth for (at least) two more years, being bruised politically and willfully running roughshod over the US Constitution, you can't swear that "when the wheel turns I'll be there"...a bit more than I can.

I'll tell you what, though. I CAN quarentee that we ARE about to move into interesting times.

Don't worry about Mary Landrieu, she can always go back to selling Real Estate.

It pays better then being a community organizer.

Mary Landrieu bites the dust in Louisiana senatorial runoff election!

How's that "Louisiana Purchase" involving her support of ObamaCare's passage working out for her?

I'll wait for ohwiseone's call as to whether she lost by "a landslide". LOL

Senator Schumer's admission that the big problem with Obamamcare is that they passed a bill that did not help their voting block so that is why they lost big in the midterms.

So according to Chuck, Obamacare was about getting votes and keeping their job not about helping people. Well, he was honest.

Even Deep Throat Nancy Pelosi couldn't swallow that one.

I don't think Boehner may have known about the three videos of Obama's HCR strategist Jonathan Gruber having called the American people (voters) "stupid", at that time. Now, we all know.

My deductibles went up dramatically. Some of my medications that were covered are no longer covered at the same level. My heart specialist is now out of network.

BTW - If you don't believe the story that I posted from Facebook, that puts you in league with ON-MY-WAY-OUT Harry Reid. He thinks they're all liars to that have been very negatively affected by the financials of ObummerCare.
