Marietta College partners with Nike

Agreement part of BSN Sports Collegiate Select program

The Marietta College Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced that it has entered into a five-year partnership with Nike through BSN Sports. The agreement, which commenced on July 1, 2019, is part of BSN Sports Collegiate Select program, which aims to make BSN Sports a one-stop provider for all collegiate athletic, intramural, club and staff apparel and equipment to all NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III schools as well as NJCAA and NAIA schools.

The agreement includes numerous incentives in the form of discounts and rewards along with incentives for on-field achievements and additional marketing, branding and promotional opportunities.

“Because of Todd Northrop, BSN Sports has consistently earned a lion’s share of our business for the last 15-20 years,” Marietta Athletic Director Larry Hiser said. “We are excited to formalize our partnership with them so that our athletes, coaches and entire college can benefit from our relationship with the industry leaders in athletic equipment and apparel.”

Marietta College is a NCAA Division III institution that features 22 intercollegiate varsity athletic teams. The Pioneers compete in the Ohio Athletic Conference and the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference.

“Our longstanding relationship with Marietta College and its incredible athletic program is very important to us.” said Todd Northrop, Vice President of BSN Sports Collegiate Select. “We’ve been partners with the staff, coaches and school administration for almost 20 years and they are like family to us. Not only will we continue to provide the finest apparel and athletic products to all athletes associated with Marietta College Athletics, but we’ll also work tirelessly to save coaches time off the field so they can impact more lives on it.”

BSN Sports Collegiate Select will partner with the company’s key vendors to provide apparel and equipment to colleges and universities across the country.
