Shenandoah 38, Frontier 36
SARAHSVILLE — Frontier led 21-13 at halftime over Shenandoah Thursday but was outscored 11-4 in the third quarter and 14-11 in the fourth as the Zeps rallied for a 38-36 victory.
Ashleigh Wheeler’s 15-point, 10-rebound double-double led Shenandoah while Raegan Flood added nine points and three steals. Mackenzie Lynch chipped in eight points.
The Cougars were paced by Haley Bills’ game-high 16 points. Kara Ramsey joined her in double figures with 12 points.
Trimble 48, Waterford 37
GLOUSTER — Waterford shot just 25.5% in a 48-37 loss to Trimble Thursday.
The Wildcats were led by Cara Taylor’s 15 points and five rebounds. Waterford went just 2 for 15 on 3-point attempts against the Tomcats’ defense.
Warren 57, Nelsonville-York 34
NELSONVILLE — Warren had a dominant first half, taking a 34-12 lead into halftime on the way to a 57-34 win over Nelsonville-York Thursday.
Sommer Saboley and Savannah Banks scored 15 points apiece to lead the Warriors, who are now 12-1 this season.
Caspen Ford chipped in nine points.
Nelsonville-York was paced by Jocelyn Heller’s 12 points, followed closely by Haley Herd’s 11.
Warren is back in action Monday when it pays a visit to Athens.
Parkersburg Christian 47,Heritage Christian 37
RAVENSWOOD, W.Va. — Izaia Nazelrod had 12 points, Jacob Johnson added 10 more and Trey Bennett stuffed the stat sheet Thursday night as Parkersburg Christian knocked off host Heritage Christian, 47-37.
Bennett not only had 10 points, but he also grabbed a dozen boards, had seven steals and blocked five shots.
The 8-4 Knights, who shot just 29.4% (20 of 68), led 30-12 at the break and returns to action on Tuesday with a road game at Calvary Baptist Academy.
