Roundup: Warren, Frontier boys win on road
CARROLL — Warren won its 11th game in a row and scored its sixth consecutive double-digit victory with Friday’s 57-36 triumph over Bloom-Carroll.
The Warriors improved to 16-2 and will play host to Athens Saturday.
Julian Stadelman paced the Warriors with a game-high 18 points. Colin Anthony also reached double figures with 10 points followed by Jacob Sealey’s nine and Nick Cressey’s eight.
WHS led 15-7 after one, 29-16 at halftime and 43-29 going into the fourth.
Bloom-Carroll was led by Park Truex’s 15 points. Rob Williams added 10 and Caleb Frashure chipped in eight.
Frontier 52, River 42
HANNIBAL — For the second time this week, Frontier took care of business against River.
Two days after besting the Pilots 43-29 at Hank Morus Gym, the Cougars (9-5) traveled to RHS Friday and left with a 52-42 victory.
Avery Powell scored a game-high 17 points for the Cougars, who play host to Caldwell Tuesday. Jacob Bowersock added 13 points and Austyn Kephart netted 11.
The Pilots (7-9) were led by Payton Blue’s 10 points.
