MC tops Baldwin Wallace

BEREA, Ohio — Lukas Isaly had 14 of his game-high 21 points in the first half, Mason Lydic came off the bench to register a double-double and No. 10 Marietta College pulled away from host Baldwin Wallace here Tuesday evening for an 86-76 triumph in the Ohio Athletic Conference opener for both teams.

The Yellow Jackets (2-3, 0-1) had the game tied 32-all at intermission, but they missed 11 free throws and shot just 40 percent overall from the field. Despite hitting 16 of 34 from downtown, BWU made just 6 of 21 shots inside the arc.
