Williamstown Bridge still closed; updated Washington County road closures

The Marietta Police Department confirmed that while water is receding from the Ohio River, the Williamstown Bridge is still closed at least until noon today.

Also the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released this morning the following updated list of road closures in the county due to high water:

• County Road 9 at mile marker 4.

• Sandhill Road at the intersection of Jett Hill Road.

• State Route 145 in Lower Salem.

• Sparling Road.

• Rainbow Road at the intersection of Muskingum River Road.

• County Road 9 at mile marker 1.5.

• Both ends of Jett Hill Road.

• Hill Bridge Road at the intersection of County Road 9.

• Caywood Road at the 4.5-5.5 mile markers.

• Mudd Lane at the intersection of Newells Run Road.

• Browns Road at the 500 block.

• State Route 821 at at the intersection of Dunbarger Road.

• State Route 821 at mile marker 6.

• Whipple Run Road at the intersection of Kohl Road.

• Stanleyville Narrows.

• Whipple Straights.

• Main Street in Lower Salem Halfway covered.

• Virginia Street at State Route 7

• State Route 7 South of New Mat (Northbound lane).

• State Route 7 at mile marker 38.

• Zion Ridge Road.

• 500 block of Muskingum River Road.

• 9000 block of Muskingum River Road.

• State Route 7 at Beavertown.

• Caywood Road a half mile off State Route 26

• Leith Run Road

• Starlite Drive at Hillsboro Trailer Park.

• Indian Run Road.

• State Route 7 at Dana Road.

• Joe Skinner Road.
