August 1, 1942 January 24, 2026 Just as the snow began to fall on Saturday evening, Susan “SJ” Wendell, 83, passed away peacefully at Crown Pointe Care Center in Columbus, Ohio. Susan was born in Ripley, WV, the only child of Helen and Howard “Win” Wendell. She graduated from St Mary’s High School in St Mary’s, WV in 1960 and attended business school in Parkersburg, WV before taking her first job with the FBI in Washington, DC.
