LONG BOTTOM -- Just past Forked Run State Park on Ohio 124 in Long Bottom, the home of Maryann and Carl Parsons has something for every fan of Christmas lights.
Maryann, 48, said this was their second year for their expansive display of plastic blow molded characters.
She said they have been collecting them about 20 years.
"We love them and it's mainly for us," she said. "But if people want to come and see them."
"We're Christmas crazy," Carl said.
They have different vignettes set up, including a penguin pond, football field, five nativities, a Santa's workshop and two choirs.
They started putting the decorations up just before Halloween and they'll remain up through Christmas.
She said they have almost 700 blow molds. Some have had to have "plastic surgery" as they were trash finds, while others were donated by locals that just needed restored.
A tree is set up in their yard with lighted children's toys, including a sandbox turtle.
"If it's plastic and we can drill a hole in it, we'll light it up," Maryann said.
