Richard and Eleanor (Spears) Stewart of Marietta are celebrating their 66th anniversary July 27. They were married July 27, 1953 in Oakland, MD.

Richard retired as a welder from Elkem.

The couple have two children, Rick (Colleen) Stewart of Mocksville, NC and Kyla (Greg) Dent of Marietta.

They have two grandchildren, Karly (Bryan) Hardesty who were married July 27, 2018 in honor of and celebrating her grandparents 65th anniversary, and Shaun Dent of Columbus.

They also have three great-grandchildren, Kilynn Wynn, Aydric Wynn and Beaudyn Hardesty, who was born June 9, on Richard’s 89th birthday.
