Gary and Teri Strauss are celebrating 35 years of marriage. They were married April 27,1984 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Beverly, OH with Monsignor Joseph Nealon officiating. Gary is the son of Thomas and Evelyn Strauss and Teri is the daughter of Frederick and the late Cherry Bosner. The couple own and operate the fourth generation Strauss Farms as well as work full-time employment. On April 20, Thomas James “T.J.” and Shirley (Gaughan) Wilson of Marietta celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Rev. Earl Debar officiated their marriage ceremony on April 20, 1954, in Boomer, WV. After they were married, they lived in West Virginia for a short time. The majority of their adult life they have resided in Pinehurst (Marietta). Their journey as a married couple is a true testament of love and perseverance. 71st: Joe and Ruth Muntz

Joe and Ruth Muntz will celebrate 71 years of marriage on April 21. They were married at St. John the Baptist Church in Churchtown in 1948. They are the parents of four sons, Fred and John of Marietta and the late David and Mike. The also have five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one step great-grandson.

60th: Gerald and Karen Hill

Gerald and Karen Hill will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on May 8. They were married May 8, 1959 and were blessed with four children, Rod (Marsha) Vandermay, Gerry Offenberger (Terry Perry), Lisa (Bob) Dinocco and James (Tee) Hill. Their life has been filled with the joy brought by 13 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. The couple’s family will hold an open house on April 27 from 1-3 p.m. at the Waterford Church of Nazarene. Howard and Sue Dutton celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 5. They were married on April 5, 1959. Howard is retired from BF Goodrich/RJF and enjoys playing music in nursing homes around the county. He is handy at building things such as duck pens, goat pens and chicken coops, just to name a few.
