Kevin and Peggy Malcomb of Marietta announce the engagement of their son, Jacob, to Lyndsay LaBarge, daughter of Timothy and Petra LaBarge of Tupper Lake, N.Y.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of Marietta High School and 2010 graduate of St. Lawrence University, with a degree in biology. The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Tupper Lake High School and 2010 graduate of St. Lawrence University. She holds an M.A. in higher education administration from Boston University. Both currently live and work in Canton, N.Y.

They will be married in Saranac Lake, N.Y., on Sept. 5, 2015.
