George and Janet Shinsky of Parkersburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Beth, to Christopher Chase, eldest son of Dr. Robert and Mrs. Carol Chase, of Marietta.

Shinsky, a graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg, works with West Virginia Birth to Three and Chase, a graduate of Capital University, is employed with Ken Miller Supply in Marietta. A May wedding is planned.
