Tom and Jo Gibson of Vincent announce the engagement of their son, Elijah Thomas, to Vanessa Ann Frost, daughter of Willie Joe and Debra Frost of Corbin, Ky.
The prospective bridegroom attended Wood County Christian School in Williamstown and received his doctorate of pharmacy from the University of Charleston in Charleston, W.Va. He is currently employed by OhioHealth in Athens as a pharmacist.
The bride-to-be is a Corbin native and attended Lynn Camp High School. After high school, she attended University of the Cumberlands, where she received a bachelor of arts in biology. She then received a doctorate of osteopathy from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg for her internal medicine residency where she met Elijah. The bride-to-be is currently employed by Camden Clark Medical Center as an internal medicine physician.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of James and Juanita Gibson and Charles and Mary Kiser. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late “Doc” and Julia Frost and the late Clifford and Mary Blakley.
The couple will be wed at the bride’s home in June with a reception to follow. Formal invitations have been sent. The bride and groom plan to honeymoon in Jamaica. They will reside in Lexington, Ky., after the wedding.
