Dr. R. Bruce and Virginia Henthorn announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Hillary Anne, to Peter William Ray, son of Linda Wolpert and John Ray of Boulder, Colo.
Hillary and Peter are both graduates of Lewis & Clark College, Portland, Ore., with bachelor of arts degrees in chemistry. A 2008 graduate of Marietta High School, the bride-to-be is pursuing a PhD in chemistry at the University of Oregon. She is employed by the UO as a graduate teaching fellow. The prospective bridegroom completed his MS in chemical engineering at the Oregon State University in 2015 and is employed as a chemical engineer at LightSmyth Technologies.
Their wedding will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016, in Eugene, Ore.
