Together with their families, Amy Elizabeth Fanta and Ashley Adair Caruthers announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth Fanta of Vienna, W.Va. She is a 2001 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 2005 graduate of Ohio University. She is employed by United Bank as a senior marketing specialist.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Marilyn Roberts Caruthers of Scott Depot, W.Va. He is also the son of Monte Caruthers of Poca, W.Va. He is a 1996 graduate of Winfield High School and a 2001 graduate of West Virginia State University. He is employed by Krayton Polymers, Inc. as a purchasing agent.

The couple brings to the marriage three children, Boston, Xavier and Asher. A September 2016 wedding is planned. The couple will reside in Vienna, W.Va.
