Jennifer Lauer and Jacob Erb

Jennifer Lauer and Jacob Erb announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeff and Chrissy Lauer of Stanleyville. She is a 2007 graduate of Marietta High School and 2011 graduate of Marietta College. She is also a volunteer firefighter and EMT for Fearing Township Volunteer Fire Department.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Charles and Catherine Gessel of Macksburg. He is a 2005 graduate of Caldwell High School and Mid-East Career and Technology Center. He also enjoys working on the family farm.

The couple are planning a July wedding.
