Danielle Elizabeth Lang and Travis Ray Potts, together with their parents, are announcing their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of David and Kelly Lang of Lowell, Ohio. She is the granddaughter of Raymond and Deanna Lang of Lowell and Robert and Eolyne Parlin of Marietta. Danielle attended Fort Frye High School, as well as Marietta College for Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2013 and obtained her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies in 2015. She has worked in the Acute Care/Trauma Surgery Service at Marietta Memorial Hospital since 2015.

The groom-to-be is the son of Kevin and Debbie Potts of Sunbury, Ohio. He is the grandson of Larry and Margie Bowen of Galena, Ohio, and Gary and Judy Myers of Middle Point, Ohio. Travis graduated from Big Walnut High School in 2009. He is currently attending Columbus State Community College for Electrical Sciences. He works for The Superior Group in Columbus and is a member of the IBEW Local 683.

The wedding date for the future bride and groom is Oct. 10 at St. Mary’s Basilica of the Assumption in Marietta with the reception to follow at the Shrine Building.
