Margaret Lanier Cauthorn, died on August 11, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 29, 1933, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Margaret Foster Groce and John Lanier Groce. They moved to Long Bottom, Ohio in Meigs County after World War II and she graduated from Chester High School in 1952. In 1959, she married Curtis P. Cauthorn, Jr. They moved to Reedsville, Ohio in 1975. Curtis P. Cauthorn, Jr. died in 1993. Margaret moved to Marietta, Ohio in 2015.
