Kristin Evon Stewart

Kristin Evon Stewart, 78, of Marietta, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on July 14, 2026. Born March 12, 1948, in Flemington, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late A.P. Stewart Jr. and Hellen Pauline Singleton Stewart. Kristin loved the Lord, her family, and never met a stranger. She was a gifted storyteller. Her kindness, and generous spirit touched everyone she met. Though she endured heartbreaking losses later in life, she continued to share her love freely and was always willing to help anyone in need. She is survived by her children, Shelly Murphy ...

Tom is the father of William (Vicki) Hurte of Marietta Ohio, and Anthony (Bertha) Hurte of New Matamoras Ohio. Grandpa to Jessica (Ryan) Newhart, Ben (Amanda) Hurte, and Andrew Hurte.
