She was born on December 21, 1937, in Akron, Ohio, to Walter Thomas Wilson and Audra Geraldine Wilson. Shirley graduated from Vincent High School in Vincent, Ohio, with the Class of 1955. After her 3 children were born, she began a career in the medical field, working for Dr. Don Carmen in Beverly, Ohio. Following his passing, she continued serving the community alongside Dr. Steven Downer until her retirement at the remarkable age of 80. ...
