Tiger Navy to serve breakfast Saturday
The Marietta Tiger Navy/Harmar Rowing Club will serve all-you-can-eat pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee and milk from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at UNDO's Restaurant in Marietta. The cost is $5 per person.

Belpre Chamber plans networking lunch
Business and civic leaders as well as residents are invited to attend the Belpre Area Chamber of Commerce Networking Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Rockland United Methodist Church Hall, 2300 Washington Blvd. Cost of the full lunch consisting of lasagna, salad, bread, a beverage and dessert is $13.
Attendees will receive information from luncheon sponsor Real Living McCarthy Realty about real estate growth and movement in the Mid-Ohio Valley. A special feature is the opportunity to introduce your business or organization to the group and meet many new clients or customers. All attendees will be entered into drawings for door prizes.

Cross stitchers meet at Beverly Library
There will be a meeting of local cross stitchers at 6 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Beverly Library. Bring the projects you are working on. Or if you are interested in learning about the ancient craft, come and learn how. There will be a beginner project available.
Warren board special meeting Thursday
There will be a special meeting of the Warren Local Schools Board of Education at 6 p.m. Thursday. The meeting will be held at the Warren Local Administration Office, 220 Sweetapple Road, Vincent, for the purpose of having a work session relating to the Ohio School Facilities construction project.
Beverly Legion to serve fish, fries, slaw
Beverly Post 389 of The American Legion will have a Lent Fish, Fries and Slaw dinner from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday. The cost is $8.
Community luncheon planned in Barlow
A community luncheon at Barlow Presbyterian Church, Ohio 550 and Warrior Drive, will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. The menu is chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, succotash, veggies, rolls and dessert.
