Easter Sunrise Service will be 6:30 a.m. at the Ohio River Levee, sponsored by Christ United Methodist Church. The service will include Holy communion, a short message by Marietta High School senior Meredith Coil, and music by members of the Marietta Ukulele Choir. All are invited.
World Religions Class presented by the Mid-Ohio Valley Interfaith, will be April 5-May 31, Thursdays, Noon to 1 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 301 Wooster St.
In this class, Distilled Wisdom of World Religions, attendees will be introduced to and disucssthe following world religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Baha'i, Confucuanism, Daoism, Judaism and Yoruba.
Presenters will be MJ Ebenhack, Martha McGovern and Carol Sedgwick. Materials provided, there is no cost.
