Since March 2020, more than $1.3 million has been raised to assist Memorial Health System with COVID-19 care.
Some $700,000 was raised between December and February for patient care and to operationalize a vaccination clinic for the region.
For the past 40 years, the foundation has raised funds to support the health of the community through state-of-the-art equipment that allows for the most advanced procedures to be performed in Washington County, resources for new programs, funding for community education, and making healthcare options accessible to all through telemedicine technology.
Memorial Health System is thankful for benefactors who have stepped forward to help alleviate the needs.
Peoples Bank led the charge for the community to rally behind the healthcare system in December when they issued a $100,000 community matching gift challenge.
