The 2021 Frontier High School Prom Queen candidates are Shayleigh Barrows, Mariah Bowersock and Katana Felter. The Prom King candidates are Logan Haught, Evan Cunningham, Jacob Gutberlet, Breckin Hoff and Andrew Shapley.
¯ Shayleigh Barrows is the daughter of Tammy and Tim Barrows. Shay has participated in the College Credit Plus Program and is a varsity athlete, float committee member, Student Council member, and was on the Homecoming Court. She is undecided on her future plans.
¯ Mariah Bowersock is the daughter of Mandy and Zach Bowersock. She plans to study physical therapy at Washington State Community College. Mariah is enrolled in courses required for the Ohio Academic Diploma with Honors while participating in the College Credit Plus Program. She received many honors as a four-year volleyball player, including first and second team recognition; member of Student Council, National Honor Society, prom, bonfire and cancer committees; and was Homecoming Queen.
¯ Katana Felter is the daughter of William Felter and Tanya Michael. She plans to study social work at Muskingum University. Katana completed a two-year technical program at Washington County Career Center, where she earned Adobe certification, is BPA president and was named Student of the Month. She is also a member of Educational Talent Search, float and prom committees, and Homecoming Court. She works at the Jug and ParMar.
¯ Logan Haught is the daughter of Darcy and Clint Grimes and Curtis and Kylee Haught. She plans to study business and communication, and play volleyball at Davis & Elkins University. Logan is a three-sport athlete and was the Hugh O'Brien Youth Foundation delegate. She is a member of float and prom committees, Student Council, Educational Talent Search, Student Mentor, and National Honor Society. She also received the Masonic Lodge Grand Master's Excellence in Youth Award.
¯ Evan Cunningham is the son of Holly and Ryan Cunningham. He plans to study music therapy and business, and to golf at Marietta College. Evan is a two-year member and current vice-president of National Honor Society; enrolled in courses required for the Ohio Academic Diploma with Honors while participating in College Credit Plus; Educational Talent Search; varsity athlete; iBelieve delegate; FFA; float and prom committees; Student Council; Homecoming Court; WTAP Academic Achiever. He manages Evan Cunningham Music and works at Pioneer Family Golf Course.
¯ Jacob Gutberlet is the son of Dawn and Kirk Gutberlet. He plans to study finance at Marietta College. He has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA while enrolled in courses required for the Ohio Academic Diploma with Honors and participating in the College Credit Plus Program. He is a two-year member and current treasurer of National Honor Society. He is also a member of Educational Talent Search, float and prom committees; Student Council; Homecoming Court; three-year class treasurer; and varsity sports. Additionally, he was an iBelieve delegate and received High School Heisman; PVC Scholar; OVAC Scholar, and WTAP Academic Achiever awards. As a CCP student, he joined Phi Theta Kappa and the Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement. He works at Pioneer Family Golf Course.
¯ Breckin Hoff is the son of Brandi and Justin Hoff. He plans to pursue the chemical polymer technician program at West Virginia University. Breckin enrolled in courses required for the Ohio Academic Diploma with Honors while participating in the College Credit Plus Program and is a member of Educational Talent Search; varsity athletics; Student Council, and Homecoming Attendant. He works at Walmart.
¯ Andrew Shapley is the son of Andrea and Bobby Shapley. He plans to play football at Marietta College but is undecided on his major. He is on track to earn the Academic Diploma with Honors while participating in College Credit Plus. He has been in FFA, Educational Talent Search, float and prom committees; varsity sports; Educational Talent Search; varsity athlete; and prom committee. He was named MOV2GO Student Athlete of the Week and WTAP Academic Achiever. He has worked on the family farm since he was young.
The Marietta High School 2021 Junior Prom Queen candidates are Emily Arnold, Sophie Evans, Elyse Macatol, Annabella Payne and McKenzie Wright. The 2021 Junior Prom King candidates are Nathan Johnson, Tyler Kytta, Hudson Misel, David Sarver and Gregory Wietrzykowski.
