A New Matamoras woman was sentenced Monday in Washington County Court of Common Pleas to 11 months in prison for vandalism.
Justine Mae MacIntyre, 24, of 502 Broadway Ave., was also sentenced to a one-year post release control enhancement, which will run consecutively.
Washington County Assistant Prosecutor Kelsey Riffle said MacIntyre had previously been in prison and was given extra time for committing the crime while on post release control.
MacIntyre was indicted in December with an accomplice for breaking into a New Matamoras residence, harming property and stealing a cloth CD/DVD case.
She was charged with one count of burglary, a second-degree felony, one count of vandalism, a fifth-degree felony, and one count of petty theft, a first-degree misdemeanor.
She pleaded guilty to the vandalism charge. As part of the plea agreement, the other two charges were dropped, along with a separate charge of aggravated possession of drugs.
The maximum penalty she could have received was 12 months in prison.
