¯ Trent E. Blair, 37, of 37870 State Route 260, Lewisville, was northbound Oct. 29 on Ohio 145 in Salem Township when his 2014 Ford Fusion veered off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. He was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.

¯ A 2015 GMC Sierra owned by Bailey Benjamin Hilts of 330 E. Fremont Road, Shepherd, Mich., was parked in the school bus turn around area Nov. 1 on Township Road 946 in Meigsville Township. Cappi M. Kehl, 61, of 7216 Waterford Road, Marietta, was turning around in a 2011 IC PB105 school bus owned by Fort Frye Local School District in the school bus turning area and struck Hilts’ vehicle. Kehl was cited for not exercising vigilance and injuring a person or property on the street or highway while backing.

¯ Mark James McCabe, 41, of 241 Hillcrest Drive, Marietta, was southbound Nov. 2 on Ohio 60 in Morgan Township. His 2020 Indian Challenger motorcycle overturned, went off the left side of the roadway and struck a guardrail. He was taken by M&M Squad to Marietta Memorial Hospital with suspected minor injuries. He was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.

¯ A 2010 GMC Terrain owned by Charles Jackson of 780 McGill Road, Vincent, was stopped Nov. 2 westbound on U.S. 50 in Belpre Township. Lauren Tedrow, 24, of 40922 State Route 684, Albany, was eastbound on the ramp from Ohio 7 northbound to U.S. 50 eastbound. Tedrow failed to stop within an assured clear distance in her 2017 Nissan Altima and struck Jackson’s vehicle. Tedrow was cited for not maintaining an assured clear distance ahead.

¯ Jimmy Brooks Flesher, 67, of 5070 Lowell Hill Road, Lowell, was southbound Nov. 3 on Ohio 821 in Muskingum Township. The truck he was driving, a 2013 Mack CHU owned by Burkhart Trucking of Lowell, went off the right side of the roadway and overturned. He was taken by Devola Fire Department squad to Marietta Memorial with suspected serious injuries. No citations were issued.

¯ A two-vehicle crash occurred Nov. 3 on Ohio 550 in Barlow Township. Tyler E. Parr, 28, of 2408 Belmont Road, Parkersburg, and Karen E. Huck, 66, of 4820 Rangewood Court, Midland, Texas, were both westbound on Ohio 550. Huck stopped her 2015 Ford F-150 in traffic and was struck in the rear by Parr’s vehicle, a 2018 Ford truck owned by Truck Sales and Service Inc. of Midvale. Parr was cited for not maintaining an assured clear distance ahead.

¯ David W. Martin, 51, of 7 Third St., Waverly, and James A. Mount, 20, of 28899 Torch Road, Coolville, were northbound Nov. 5 on Ohio 7 in Warren Township. Martin failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead in the 2013 GMC Terrain, owned by Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, he was driving, striking Mount’s 2005 Buick LeSabre. Mount was taken by Warren EMS to Marietta Memorial Hospital with possible injuries. Martin was cited for not maintaining an assured clear distance ahead.

¯ Edward Calvin James Purcell, 29, of 1580 State Route 377, Stockport, was turning left Nov. 7 into a private drive from Ohio 377 in Penn Township. Terry Lee West, 68, of 6410 Lightner Ridge Road, Stockport, swerved his 2000 Nissan Maxima to avoid striking Purcell’s 2009 GMC Yukon, crossed the center line and struck both a concrete wall and Purcell’s vehicle. West was cited for not maintaining an assured clear distance ahead.

¯ A two-vehicle crash occurred Nov. 8 on Ohio 7 in Marietta Township. Kasey L. Weekley, 30, of 803 33rd St., Vienna, and Mark W. Francis, 74, of 5660 Shay Ridge Road, New Matamoras, were southbound on Ohio 7. Francis was slowing his 2016 Ford F-150 for traffic. Weekley failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead in her 2009 Hyundai Elantra and struck Francis’ vehicle in the rear. Weekley was cited for not maintaining an assured clear distance ahead.

¯ Chase S. Compton, 28, of 2712 Sycamore Lane, Stockport, and John J. Campbell, 53, of 933 S. Bailey Ridge Road, Malta, were northbound Nov. 8 on County Road 2 in Windsor Township. Campbell slowed his 2007 Ford F-150 to turn left onto County Road 92. Compton attempted to overtake Campbell in his 2010 Chevrolet Silverado and was struck. Compton was cited for not obeying the instruction of a traffic control device.

¯ Lisa Renea Cunningham, 17, of 4001 Johnson Ridge Road, Stockport, was traveling southbound Nov. 9 on County Road 18 in Windsor Township when her 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix went off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned. She was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.

¯ Ihor Churakov, 22, of 305 N. Boone St., Rock Rapids, Iowa, was westbound Nov. 10 on U.S. 50 in Belpre Township. He failed to negotiate a curve in his 2019 Western Star 5700, owned by Bostan Express Inc. of Palatine, Ill., struck a sign, light pole and median wall before overturning. He was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.

¯ A two-car crash occurred Nov. 12 on Ohio 60 in Adams Township. Maddi A. Searl, 34, of 2196 E. Airport Road NE, McConnelsville, and Brittany A. McAtee, 29, of 500 Echo Valley Road, Waterford, were southbound on Ohio 60. McAtee stopped her 2010 GMC Acadia for traffic. Searl failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead in her 2019 Nissan Sentra and struck McAtee’s vehicle in the rear. Searl was cited for not maintaining an assured clear distance ahead.

¯ Christoper M. Driggs, 41, of 6980 Sharkey Road NW, Crooksville, was eastbound Nov. 12 on Ohio 669 in York Township when his 2007 Chevrolet Malibu crossed the centerline and traveled off the left side of the roadway. He then struck an embankment and overturned. He was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.

¯ Alexia Marie Thomas, 18, of 200 McIntosh St., Beverly, was traveling northbound Nov. 14 on Ohio 60 in Muskingum Township when her 2008 Chevrolet Impala failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. She traveled off the right side of the roadway, striking a guard twice. She was cited for operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control of it.
