April 9 concert proceeds will go to fight hunger

MARIETTA -- A concert to fight hunger will be held 8 p.m. April 9 in the Great Room of Andrews Hall at Marietta College.
Proceeds from the show presented by Evan Cunningham Music and Lambda Chi Alpha at Marietta College benefit Feeding America.
Tickets are $5 in advance or $6 at the door. T-shirts will be available and can be bundled with a ticket for $15.
The event is sponsored by Pioneer Family Golf Course, Third Street Music, the Townhouse, Brown's Wholesale, Belle Flex, the Pines Summer Concert Series and alumni of Lambda Chi.

Cunningham is a singer and songwriter who graduated from Frontier High School and is a student at Marietta College. He started playing guitar when he was 9, participated in the music program High Schools That Rock and became a solo artist at age 16.
His first song that later became the title track to his first CD was "Burnin' Gas."
