Washington County Grand Jury issues indictments
Two co-defendants were indicted by a Washington County Grand Jury on a combined 27 counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person and five counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance following the alleged production, possession and solicitation of child pornography involved children aged 4, 3 and 6.
David Dean Nolan, 69, 285 Kern Drive, Marietta was indicted on 12 counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person, four counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, one count of possessing criminal tools and one count of the unlawful possession of a dangerous ordinance.
Co-defendant Donald Eugene Nolan, 69, same address, was indicted on 15 counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person, one count of the illegal use of a minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance and one count of possessing criminal tools.
David Nolan allegedly possessed or viewed material showing child genitalia and four nude photographs of children during the dates of July 30, 2012, and Feb. 1. David also allegedly produced seven videos showing children aged 4, 3 and 6 as noted in the video titles, engaged in sexual acts and solicited it. One of the videos titles included the word “pedo” and some involved adults engaging in sexual activity with children. David was found with 50 CDs of child pornography.
Donald Nolan allegedly produced seven videos with different titles involving children and their ages. He was found with 52 CDs of child pornography.
Donald and David were both in possession of computers related to the alleged crimes, officials said.
Other grand jury indictments released Thursday included:
¯ Shawn Seyler McClead, 29, 814 Elm St., Belpre, was indicted on a charge of possession of a fentanyl-related compound after he was allegedly in possession of the items on May 11, 2022 at Washington Blvd. in Belpre.
¯ Trey Robert Rice, 26, 5999 Torch Road, Little Hocking, was indicted on an aggravated possession of drugs charge after he was allegedly found with controlled substances on Dec. 4, 2022, at State Route 7 Mile Post 30 in Newport Township.
¯ Joel Andrew Johnson, 42, 516 Bukey Ave., Williamstown was indicted on charges of one count of possession of fentanyl and one count of possession of methamphetamine and Skyla D. Williams, 22, 7023 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, was indicted on one count of possession methamphetamine.
¯ Michael A. Milliron, 33, homeless, was indicted on a theft charge after he allegedly stole a backpack containing a tablet and laptop on Dec. 23, 2019, in Marietta.
¯ Eric “Toby” Ellis Luke, 36, 115 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, was indicted on a charge of having a weapon under disability after he was allegedly found with a weapon on Dec. 1, 2021, through Sept. 18, 2022, at 515 Smith St., Marietta, as a convicted drug offense felon. He was convicted of trafficking drugs on July 15, 2014, and cultivating marijuana on Aug. 8, 2017.
¯ Romeo Julian Tayshawn Dorsey, 18, 514 N. Ohio Ave., Columbus, was indicted on a robbery charge due to an alleged incident on Nov. 20, 2022, at the 200 block of Green Street in Marietta.
¯ Teresa A. Burdette, 57, 3792 Deerwalk Highway, Waverly, was indicted on an identity fraud charge after she claimed to be another person on April 20, 2019.
¯ Nathaniel “Ross” Stephens, 34, 90 Second St., Vincent, was indicted on charges of rape and gross sexual imposition after he allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with a 9-year-old during the months of January 2016 through Dec. 31, 2017, on Veto Road in Vincent. On Nov. 30, 2022, he allegedly engaged in sexual conduct without consent and the victim unable to resist due to a physical condition. The grand jury report said Stevens “knew or had reasonable cause to believe (the victim’s) ability to resist or consent was substantially impaired because of mental or physical condition or because of advanced age.”
¯ William David Stevens, 47, 114 Miller Ave., Marietta, was indicted on charges of seven counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person during the dates of September 2020 through Jan. 3, 2023, at his address. The material showed a minor engaging in sexual activity.
¯ Donald P. Barta, 51, 1863 Beacon Hill Circle Apt. 13, Cuyahoga Falls, was indicted on charges of possession of a fentanyl-related compound, tampering with evidence and obstructing official business after he allegedly possessed drugs on March 15, 2021, on I-77 near mile marker 13 in Washington County.
¯ Felisha E. Casto, 32, 1100 19th St. Unit 10, Vienna, was indicted on charges of aggravated possession of drugs and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle. On June 8, 2020, she allegedly had a loaded firearm in a vehicle which was accessible to the operator or other passengers and she was in possession of drugs.
¯ Justin A. Jones, 35, 922 Front St., Marietta, was indicted on charges of trafficking a fentanyl-related compound, possession of a fentanyl-related compound, aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs after he was allegedly found distributing drugs on April 5, 2022, at his address. Co-defendant Destiny R. Covey, 30, same address, was indicted on a permitting drug abuse charge.
¯ Larry D. Haugh Jr., 42, 465 Dodd Run Road, Marietta, was indicted on charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs after he was allegedly involved in drug sales on Jan. 31. Co-defendant Jessica A. Science, 34, 910 Juliana St., Parkersburg, was indicted on charges of two counts of aggravated possession of drugs and illegal conveyance of drugs on a government facility after she allegedly brought drugs into a detention facility on Jan. 31.
¯ John Robert Ray Sr., 60, 208 Ewing Smith Road, Allendale, S.C., was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs which allegedly took place on June 27, 2022, on I-77 near mile marker 6 in Marietta.
¯ Nishan Biswa Kami, 20, 612 Barn St., Pataskala, was indicted on two counts of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle after she was allegedly found with a loaded 9mm handgun and black AR pistol in a vehicle on Sept. 10, 2022, at I-77 mile marker 6 in Muskingum Township.
¯ Adam Dale Mason, 39, 2406 Neal St., Parkersburg, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs.
