¯ Washington State Community College's PTK chapter, Alpha Rho Gamma, will host a craft and vendor Fair on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Ambrose Church in Little Hocking. Food will be provided by the Catholic Women's Club for donation only. All funds raised will support WSCC PTK scholarships.

¯ The 21st annual Empty Bowls Luncheon will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, 501 Fourth St., Marietta. Cost is a $15 donation, and the menu is homemade soups, bread and cookies. Each guest will receive a handmade bowl.
¯ Liberty Township will hold its annual spring cleanup Saturday and Sunday at the township building. No paint, hazardous materials or household trash will be accepted.

¯ A Community Earth Day celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 22 at Armory Square. The 24th annual event will have live music, raptors, environmental displays and demonstrations, hands-on acrtivities, recycling ideas, a sampling of electronic transportation and musical performances by High Schools That Rock, Drum Circle and Chase Brady. The event is for all ages and is hosted by Peoples Bank and Marietta Area Recycling Center.
¯ The Parkersburg Coin Club is hosting a Coin Show on Saturday and Sunday April 22 – 23 at the Comfort Suites in Mineral Wells, WV (167 Elizabeth Pike, 304-489-9600). Hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday. Several dealers will be available to buy, sell and trade coins and precious metals. ¯ Hidden Marietta's Fifth Annual Paranormal Exposition will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 6, at the Washington County Fairgrounds, 422 Front St., Marietta. Admission is $15. Organizers plan a day of psychics, ghosts, monsters, reiki, the paranormal and more. There will be more than 75 paranormal vendors, five speakers and food trucks. There will be an array of things to experience and learn.
¯ Marietta Township's School Reunion will take place Saturday, May 20, at the Marietta Township Community Building in Reno. Former students of Sand Hill, Reno, Goose Run, Jennings Hill, Cornerville, Barker and Yankeeburg schools are included. Meat, coffee, tea and table service will be provided. ¯ Gilman United Methodist Church offers worship at 10:30 a.m. Sundays. Come early to join the adult Sunday school class at 9:15 a.m. Coffee, light refreshments and good fellowship at "Coffee Time" held at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday, at 312 Gilman Ave., Marietta. A weekly adult Bible study with Pastor Doug Thompson is also offered at 10 a.m. Wednesdays and 6 p.m. Sundays. All are welcome.

¯ The Alzheimer's Association offers professionally led groups for caregivers, individuals living with Alzheimer's and others dealing with the disease of dementia. All support groups are facilitated by trained individuals. Meetings in the area include: Marietta Support Group, from 10-11:30 a.m. first Friday of the month at the O'Neill Center, 333 Fourth St., Marietta; facilitator: Krissy Kearns, 937-974-2387. ¯ The O'Neill Center will hold chair volleyball at 9 a.m. Wednesdays, except the second Wednesday of the month.

¯ TOPS 399, Marietta, meets 6 p.m. Tuesdays at the First Church of the Nazarene to help members lose weight by group support to a goal set by each member's physician. TOPS Club Inc. is a nonprofit, weight-loss support and wellness education organization in the United States and Canada. ¯ Weekly ballroom dancing classes will be 7-10 p.m. the second, third and fourth Saturdays of the month at Miller Prosthetics, 2311 Ohio Ave., Parkersburg. Casual dress, $5 per person donation, singles and couples welcome.

¯ AARP Tax Aide is offering free tax return preparation for all taxpayers on Mondays and Thursdays through April 13. Schedule appointments by calling Washington County Library (Main Branch) 740-373-1057. No walk-ins. Taxpayers should bring all their tax documents, including any letters from IRS along with a copy of last year's tax return plus picture ID and Social Security cards for all family members.
