¯ Hidden Marietta's fifth annual Paranormal Exposition will be held 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at the Washington County Fairgrounds, 422 Front St.. Admission is $15. Organizers plan a day of psychics, ghosts, monsters, reiki, the paranormal and more. More than 75 paranormal vendors, five speakers, food trucks will be available.
¯ Camp Hervida will have a Chicken BBQ from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the camp.
¯ The Lottridge Community Center Fundraiser Spring car Show will be held 11-4 p.m. Saturday at 2724 Lottridge Road, Guysville. Entry fee is $10 per vehicle.

¯ Beginning Saturday, the refreshed and revitalized Children's Toy and Doll Museum will open for the season at 206 Gilman Ave., in Marietta. The museum will be open from 1-4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays until Oct. 29.
¯ Mt. Pleasant United Women in Faith will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday and Saturday in the fellowship hall at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Mineral Wells. We will also be selling hot dogs on Friday and Saturday and there will be a bake sale on Saturday. Proceeds benefit the church and missions.
¯ The 2023 Barlow Library Summer Music Series kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Friday with the Johnny Staats Project. This free event is open to all ages and no registration is required. ¯ At the New Matamoras Library's 10 a.m., May 8 Coffee Break program, John Miller and Jim Moore will reminisce and remember times past in and around New Matamoras. ¯ The Tunnel-Warren Chapel United Methodist Churches will provide a Free Community Meal from 5-5:30 p.m. on Thursday as drive-through pick-ups in the lower parking lot. The menu is meatloaf, cubed potatoes, mixed vegetables, applesauce, dinner rolls, cakes and bottled water. To reserve a meal, please contact Amy at 740-516-0847 by Wednesday evening. ¯ Fearing Township Volunteer Fire Department will have its annual Mother's Day Dinner, 11 a.m. Sunday, May 14, at 1975 Stanleyville Road, Whipple, Ohio. Menu will be baked steak or chicken breast with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, bread and dessert. Meal includes coffee or tea. Cost is $10 for adults and $6 for children. There will be a raffle for a Canik 9mm with 20 round magazine. Tickets are $10, must be 21.
¯ Friends of Forgotten Felines is holding a fundraiser from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. May 12 at Tractor Supply, 100 Cherry Tree Lane. A hotdog, chips and a drink is $5. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit organization dedicated to the care of abandoned felines in the area.
¯Dog Days in May, sponsored by Belpre Heights Church will be held from noon to 4 p.m. May 13 (rain date, May 27) at Howes Grove Park, Belpre. Various vendors including nail trimming and ear cleaning. Pet photos will be included along with different dog obedience trainers. Bring dogs and join in playing games to win prizes. The Humane Society of the Ohio Valley will give free vaccinations, but donations are appreciated, and microchipping for $20. There will be a site for donations. There will be a schedule of events going on all afternoon including Ask a Trainer Time. Raffles will be going on including for a dog house built by the Carpenter Class of Washington County Career Center.
Come and see dogs and cats that are up for adoption from the shelter and rescue group.

¯ Marietta Township's School Reunion will be held May 20 at the Marietta Township Community Building in Reno. Former students of Sand Hill, Reno, Goose Run, Jennings Hill, Cornerville, Barker and Yankeeburg schools are included. Meat, coffee, tea and table service will be provided. Guests are asked to bring a covered dish to share and memorabilia of your school and community. Other guests are welcome. ¯ The Stanleyville Schools Reunion will be held noon June 3 in the Fearing Township Community Building, 1995 Stanleyville Road. Bring a covered dish for the potluck meal and an item for a raffle. Meat, drinks, plates and silverware will be furnished. A 50/50 drawing will be available.

¯ Gilman United Methodist Church offers worship at 10:30 a.m. Sundays. Come early to join the adult Sunday school class at 9:15 a.m. Coffee, light refreshments and good fellowship at "Coffee Time" held at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday, at 312 Gilman Ave., Marietta. A weekly adult Bible study with Pastor Doug Thompson is also offered at 10 a.m. Wednesdays and 6 p.m. Sundays. All are welcome.

¯ The Alzheimer's Association offers professionally led groups for caregivers, individuals living with Alzheimer's and others dealing with the disease of dementia. All support groups are facilitated by trained individuals. Meetings in the area include: Marietta Support Group, from 10-11:30 a.m. first Friday of the month at the O'Neill Center, 333 Fourth St., Marietta; facilitator: Krissy Kearns, 937-974-2387. Belpre Chamber of Commerce from 1-2:40 p.m. second Monday of the month at 713 Park Drive, Belpre; facilitator: Susie Casto.
¯ The O'Neill Center will hold chair volleyball at 9 a.m. Wednesdays, except the second Wednesday of the month.
¯ Mani/pedis with appointments starting at 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every second and fourth Tuesday of the month. Cost is $16 for manicure and $33 for pedicure. Call the O'Neill Center for appointments.
¯ TOPS 399, Marietta, meets 6 p.m. Tuesdays at the First Church of the Nazarene to help members lose weight by group support to a goal set by each member's physician. Weigh-in is between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Visitors are welcome, and the first meeting is free. Call Cindy at 740-629-2957 for details. TOPS Club Inc. is a nonprofit, weight-loss support and wellness education organization in the United States and Canada. Members learn about nutrition, portion control, motivation, food planning and exercise at weekly meetings.

¯ Zumba classes will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 11:30 a.m. Monday at the O'Neill Center. The cost is $5 per class or $25 for six classes. All ages welcome. For more information, call 740-373-3914.
¯ The O'Neill Center in Marietta will host bingo at 9:30 a.m. Thursday mornings. No cost at the door to play 20 games, and it is a nickel per card per game. Seating is limited.
¯ Weekly ballroom dancing classes will be 7-10 p.m. the second, third and fourth Saturdays of the month at Miller Prosthetics, 2311 Ohio Ave., Parkersburg. Casual dress, $5 per person donation, singles and couples welcome.
¯ The O'Neill Center will have a free gentle yoga class at 10 a.m. every Tuesday.
